This statement concerns WWW.CYLENE.WORLD and its regional editions, the checkout, order correspondence, and client services. It is issued by CYLENE WORLD, INC., a topicals and olfactive practice.  The site is intended for every visitor, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology.  What follows sets out the standard we hold ourselves to, where the site stands in relation to it, and how to reach us when something falls short.

    The benchmark applied.

The site is designed, built and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Published by the World Wide Web Consortium and adopted as the international standard ISO/IEC 40500:2025, these guidelines describe how digital content can be made perceivable, operable and understandable for people with a wide range of disabilities. Content that meets WCAG 2.2 at Level AA also meets Levels A and AA of the earlier 2.1 and 2.0 versions. For visitors in the European Union, we additionally observe the applicable requirements of the European standard EN 301 549.

    Current standing, and its basis.

The site is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Most of it meets the standard; some parts do not yet, and we are working to close that gap. This assessment rests on our own evaluation, most recently completed on April 10, 2026. It combined automated testing with manual review: navigating by keyboard alone, listening through screen readers, and examining each page under magnification.  An independent audit is scheduled for April 10, 2027. We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget in place of accessible design. The site is built to work with the browser settings and assistive technology each visitor already uses, rather than asking them to adopt ours.

    From first visit to payment.

A visit may involve browsing the collection, searching, studying a product, selecting a format, creating an account, checking out, paying, and following an order to its delivery. Each of these steps has been considered as follows.     [Navigation] — Every page opens with a link that skips directly to its main content. Headings follow a logical order, menus behave consistently from page to page, and each page carries a descriptive title. The entire site can be operated by keyboard, and the point of focus is always visible, never hidden beneath a header or banner.    [ Image and film] — Images that carry meaning are given text descriptions; purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers so they do not interrupt. Films are captioned, and where a film conveys information visually, a transcript or audio description is provided. Nothing plays sound automatically, and moving content can be paused     [Legibility] — Text and controls meet the contrast ratios set by WCAG. Pages can be enlarged to 400% and reflow to a narrow 320-pixel column without losing content or function. The site respects device settings for text size, reduced motion and contrast, and color is never the only means by which information is conveyed.  [Forms, account and checkout] — Every field carries a visible label. When an error occurs, it is described in text along with guidance on how to correct it. Signing in never requires solving a puzzle or memorizing a code; pasting and password managers are always permitted. No session expires without warning and the opportunity to extend it.  [Payment] — Checkout is provided through Shopify and payment partners including Shop Pay and Apple Pay. The identification, security and payment steps are tested by keyboard and screen reader. If any of these steps does not work for you, we will complete your order by another means (see 08).  [Pop-ups] — Sign-up and other pop-up windows can be closed by keyboard or with the Escape key. On closing, focus returns to where it was, and no pop-up is permitted to obstruct checkout. The site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA. It is tested with current versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

    Composition, character and use.

What a product contains, how it is experienced and how it should be used are all published as text, so that the information can be read aloud, enlarged or translated by whatever tools a visitor relies on.  Full ingredient lists (INCI) and allergen declarations appear as text on each product page, never only within a photograph of the packaging.  Olfactive notes, character and texture are described in words, rather than conveyed through image or film alone.Formats and variants are named in text, never distinguished by color or image alone.  Directions for use, warnings and storage guidance appear as text on the product page.  On request, we will provide product and packaging information in large print, in plain text, or read aloud by telephone, without charge.

    Work underway, help meanwhile.

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state.  Issues identified through our internal reviews are being addressed, and we plan to engage an independent auditor to test the site further.  If something does not work for you in the meantime, contact us and we will help you complete what you came to do.

    Partner functions, our responsibility.

Certain functions on the site are provided by partners, among them checkout and payment, product reviews, shipping and returns, and embedded media.  Accessibility is one of the criteria by which these partners are chosen; we ask each to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and report to them any issues we find.  Responsibility for your experience of the site remains ours.  Where a partner's function presents a barrier, we will provide an alternative.

    Other ways to order, assistance.

If any part of the site is inaccessible to you, we will provide the information you are seeking, take your order, or complete any other transaction by a method that works for you. You will receive the same prices, offers, delivery options and level of service available online, at no additional cost.  [1]  Email]    accessibility@cyleneworld.com      [2] [Post]    CYLENE WORLD, INC., Attn: Accessibility, — 2045 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, Florida, 33127.  When contacting us, it helps to mention the page or feature concerned, what happened, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using.  None of this is required to receive help.  We will acknowledge your message within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 15.  If a resolution will take longer, we will tell you, offer an alternative in the meantime, and keep you informed of progress.  If you are not satisfied with our response, you may ask for it to be escalated, and it will be reviewed by our digital, compliance, and operations teams.

    Upkeep as the site evolves.

A site changes continually, and its accessibility has to be maintained alongside it. Our practice is as follows.  [1] Accessibility requirements are built into our design system, page templates and editorial guidelines, so that new work begins from an accessible foundation.  [2]  New features, templates and applications are checked against WCAG 2.2 Level AA before they are released.  [3] Automated checks run quarterly. Every page template and the complete purchase path are reviewed manually at least twice a year, and again after any major redesign.  [4] Staff who publish content or respond to clients are trained in accessibility.  [5] Accessibility is a condition in the selection of every technology partner.  [6] Every report of a barrier is logged, prioritized, resolved and tracked internally.  [7] This statement is reviewed at least every twelve months and whenever the site changes significantly.

    Relation to terms and rights.

This statement is referenced in our Terms of Service and constitutes our published description of how the online store meets accessibility requirements.  Full conformance remains our objective; while we work toward it, we cannot guarantee that every page will be free of barriers at all times.  Nothing in this statement limits any right you hold under applicable law.
