Material philosophy: Kanzo initiates pass through fire to emerge remade. This holder stages that passage. Incense burns, matter converts to scent and residue. FORM & FUNCTION ▪

The silhouette of Sabil resolves in two moves: a dish, wide and shallow, and the collar that lifts it. Between them, a waist — the point where the object nearly disappears into itself before opening again. The dish is proportioned to the incense it serves: broad enough to catch a full stick's ash, low enough to keep the burning line as the tallest element in the room.

Mirror-finished stainless steel, polished to optical grade. Chrome reflects without color; the object has no palette of its own and takes on every room it enters. The mark is engraved into the base — permanent, recessed, legible only at close range. Weighted to sit without movement. Formed as one continuous surface, seamless from lip to foot.
